Who can join?
We firmly appreciate, accept, and value diversity of all kinds. It's what makes the world beautiful! We invite anyone, male or female, interested in our issues to join.
How can I join?
It's easy! You can join NOW online. If you prefer to mail in a check, just print the form and send that along as well. National membership dues are $40 dollars per year, but a sliding scale is available ($15-$39) based on your ability to pay.

What do you send out over your email list?
Action alerts, event announcements, and press releases are what we most often send. We promise that we will not overload your inbox - we just want to let you know when there's something you can do to promote women's rights in Texas.
Do I have to be a member to join your email list?
No. Again, we welcome all feminist allies. But we'd sure love to have you as members!

Are donations to Texas NOW tax-deductible?
No. We are a 501© 4 and our work is political in nature, so your donation is not tax-deductible.
So where does my money go?
Your money helps us work for women's rights in Texas. We support our local chapters and serve as a link between them and the national organization. We have a state conference every year with workshops on everything from effective grassroots activism to how race impacts reproductive rights. We sponsor educational events and direct actions, like Equal Pay Day press conferences and marches to protest violence against women in Juarez. Most importantly, your donations support our work advocating for women's rights in the Texas Legislature. Texas NOW is the only multi-issue, progressive women's rights advocacy organization in the state. Your donation makes it possible for us to ensure that women's voices will be heard in Austin!
